2011-04-22 Jo & David Kilroe, Oakfield Farm

Jo & David Kilroe got married on the 22nd of April 2011 at Oakfield Farm.  They both live in England and decided to share their special day in South Africa with friends and family.

We also did Jo’s sister, Diana’s wedding at Oakfield Farm in 2010!

It was a lovely wedding as David who is in the Queen’s Guards, wore his red uniform and we matched the colours of the wedding around it.
It is always interesting doing a wedding with a couple that are from overseas but thanks to emails things become possible.

Bride Bouquet
The Bride bouquet consisted of White Casablanca lilies, cream roses and white orchids.  We tied the stems in a white satin ribbon with thin red ribbon criss-crossed over the white.

Bridesmaid Bouquet
Diana was Jo’s Matron of honour.  She had a Gerbera bouquet consisting of white and red Gerberas with some strands of bear-grass.  The stems were tied with matching red ribbon and secured with pearl corsage pins

Buttonholes
Groom:  a Single cream rose was used to match the bride’s bouquet
Other:  a Single red rose was used to match the bridesmaid’s bouquets

Once again, this was such a fantastic “themed” event! Congratulations on your Marriage and may you have many more love-filled years together.
